Brewing Basics

Brewing potions requires a Brewing Stand (crafted from 1 Blaze Rod + 3 Cobblestone) and Blaze Powder as fuel. Each piece of Blaze Powder fuels 20 brewing operations.

Brewing Steps

  1. Fill 1-3 Glass Bottles with water
  2. Place Water Bottles in the Brewing Stand
  3. Add Nether Wart to make Awkward Potion (base for most potions)
  4. Add the main ingredient (Spider Eye, Blaze Powder, etc.)
  5. Optionally add modifiers (Redstone, Glowstone, Gunpowder)

Modifier Rules

Most Useful Potions for Survival Fire Resistance (Nether exploration), Night Vision (mining), Healing II (combat), and Slow Falling (End cities). Brew these first.
